Another Successful Year: Head Office takes part in Housing for Women's 10k Run

On Sunday 4 June, Fine & Country’s Head Office Road Runners strapped on their trainers, put on their sun cream and made their way to the start line.

Hundreds of participants flooded into Regents Park to take part in the 10k for their chosen charities. Multiple members of our team took part last year, including Nicola Laggett, PR and Marketing Assistant Manager who said, “For me, it was the atmosphere which I loved most about the day; the crowds of people cheering you on throughout the race really helped me to keep my pace. I know that I will take part again next year.

Nicola continued, “I would really like to take part in other events for the Fine & Country Foundation. We are all having a little brainstorm to find our next challenge. A Tough Mudder is on the cards.”

Madeline Jump, Events and PR Assistant said, “This was a great training exercise for the half marathon that I’m running in October.”

Lisa Preece, PR & Marketing Executive said, “I am so glad that we have a running club twice a week, it has helped us to improve so much from last year. I achieved my goal of under an hour and now I can’t wait to sign up to another race, maybe even a half marathon with Madeline.”

Our team of Road Runners ran on behalf of Housing for Women, who support vulnerable and homeless women. The team are delighted that they have raised £1,219.
