Grant programme returns: £17,400 awarded in spring 2019

Thanks to the generosity of our network and the public, we have donated £17,400 in the spring 2019 grant programme. Find out which projects you have supported below: 1. Banbury Young Homelessness Project (BYHP) Operating in North Oxfordshire and South Northants, BYHP supports young homeless people with advice and information. They work with the District Council to provide permanent accommodation for young people with nowhere else to go. Their £1,000 grant will fund their Emergency Accommodation Fund. Young people stay from four nights to a month in a safe and secure B&B while the charity seeks a more permanent solution.    2. Birmingham City Mission The team offers an evening meal and daytime activities for homeless and marginalised individuals in Birmingham. Due to increased demand, they have extended their opening hours and staff team to receive up to 40 guests per evening. Their £1,000 grant will help pay for the installation of an air condition...
