Good mornings start with coffee! Annual coffee morning returns this May

Coffee mornings are the perfect way to raise money and awareness for homelessness in a relaxed and friendly environment.

If you have a local business, like our Fine & Country estate agents, The Foundation’s annual coffee morning provides you with the opportunity to invite your clients, local residents, friends and family to your office to celebrate the return of The Fine & Country Foundation's annual coffee morning, on Thursday 16th May.

Entice your guests with your best baking skills, or pop to the shops to get some freshly-made treats for a morning of chatting and fundraising in support of your favourite homeless charities. You can choose a homeless charity to support, or allocate your fundraising efforts to The Foundation’s grant pot.

Every penny raised will go directly to a vital project to reduce homelessness in the UK and overseas.

Fancy taking part?

Simply email to let us know you're getting involved and you will receive a personalised press release to promote to your local community.

Top tips:

TOP TIP #1: Promote your event on social media by making an event on Facebook to drum up support and excitement before the day.

TOP TIP #2: Enjoy our new partnership with Bean & Leaf and order our new organic pre-ground and filter coffee to your door to sell on the day. For every bag purchased, Bean & Leaf will donate a percentage of the sale. Order your coffee here

TOP TIP #3: Speak to local businesses to get their involvement and ask them to put promotional posters in their windows. Download your FREE marketing materials here.

TOP TIP #4: Don’t limit your coffee morning to just refreshments, ask your local businesses for raffle prizes to help raise more money for homelessness.

TOP TIP #5: Invite your local homeless charity along to help spread the word!

TOP TIP #6: Remember to take lots of photos to share on social media. Tag us on Facebook and Twitter and we will share your content.

TOP TIP #7: Write all dietary requirements on your foods (vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, dairy free, nut free).

TOP TIP #8: If you're not sure how much to charge, write a note saying "Suggested donation £1 per slice".

TOP TIP #9: Have fun with it, make your office or area look pretty to the public to entice them to come in. Balloons and bunting are always a winner.

TOP TIP #10: Provide a cash float in case your guests need change.
