Fancy a Slice: The Fine & Country Foundation Coffee Morning Returns

Fancy a Slice: The Fine & Country Foundation Coffee Morning Returns

This October, Fine & Country agents from across the UK and beyond are dusting off their aprons ready to flaunt their baking prowess for the return of the Fine & Country Foundation Coffee Morning. Taking place on Thursday 26th October, from 9am to 12pm, Fine & Country offices will be opening their doors to the public to enjoy baked treats and refreshments in support of The Foundation, raising money to combat the causes of homelessness around the world.

Jon Cooke, Trustee of The Fine & Country Foundation says: “The Coffee Morning has been a staple in The Foundation’s event calendar for many years; however, the effects of the pandemic meant we had to put a pause on proceedings. I am delighted that we are able to resurrect this superb event for 2023, which will generate donations towards The Foundation and will help us support so many amazing charities. The proceeds received will help us towards our target of reaching an incredible total of £1,000,000 in donations since The Foundation’s inception. This is an ambitious target that I am confident we can achieve with the encouragement and backing of our network and the public.”

In the first seven months of 2023, The Foundation has raised an impressive £78,000. The organisation has donated over £87,000 to homeless charities in the UK and overseas through Grant Programmes, run twice a year, with the next round of grants opening in October. In 2024, the charity will be celebrating its 10-year anniversary and hopes to achieve a fundraising goal of £1million to mark the occasion.

The event will offer not only a platform to raise money for The Foundation and awareness for homeless charities, but also an opportunity for our Fine & Country agents to get involved with their communities. Many will be collaborating with local businesses to host their coffee mornings, while others will be taking their goods to the masses in their villages, towns and cities.

Whether the goodies are made with love, or purchased with passion, our Coffee Morning will be an event for the books, and we hope you will join us to raise vital funds for a worthy cause. Contact your local Fine & Country agent to find out more.
