3 Peaks Challenge in Yorkshire

3 Peaks Challenge in Yorkshire

On the 27th and 28th May members of GPEA Ltd will be taking part in the 3 Peaks Challenge in Yorkshire to raise money for the Fine & Country Foundation which seeks to tackle homelessness. The team of ten will be walking 24 miles across stunning sites, tackling the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough. The trek will require them to climb to ascents of 5,200ft (1,585m), but their real challenge is to complete the walk in 10 hours, rather than the standard 12 hours.

The group aims to raise £1,200 for the Fine & Country Foundation which targets homelessness on local, national and international levels. In order to do this, the Fine & Country Foundation works with charities including ActionAid, Centrepoint, Housing for Women and many more. A little goes a long way, so follow this link to show your support for the GPEA Peaky Blinders:

In the past Fine & Country and GPEA Ltd have taken part in a range of events for the Fine & Country Foundation including the Ironman, 10k runs, rowing challenges, sleep outs and coffee mornings. The 3 Peaks Challenge in Yorkshire is another event which will be added onto the growing manifesto of activities that has enabled to Foundation to raise £100,713 in 2016. With a wide range of events coming up throughout the rest of 2017, we are hoping that this year will be even bigger and better than last year.
