“It was ‘love at first sight’ when I initially saw the property, despite the fact that it was in a very ‘unloved’ state and I just knew it was the house for me. I bought it about five years ago and then spent a great deal of time and effort in renovating it and restoring the property to its former glory retaining or bringing back historical period features. The house had gone through a few different phases in its life, from originally being the summer home for the family of Sir Montague, it subsequently became a girls’ school and more latterly was once more turned into a private residence.

 

I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here, the neighbours are delightful and I love being so close to the beach and yet almost feel that I am living in a country house.
