“We have lived here for four years and have thoroughly enjoyed this unique property, its history and the setting. However our work is taking us away from the country so it time to pass our home to new custodians. We particularly love the views and the peace and quiet and the walks around the nearby fields and woodland. At the same time as we often had to work in London and on the Continent, being so close to the Channel Tunnel, fast train to London and the motorway has been ideal.

The local village of Etchinghill is very friendly and provides a lovely community with the Gatekeeper Inn offering excellent food and for golfing enthusiasts there is the nearby Etchinghill golf club. The village cricket club is very active and there are a number of activities in the village hall and the nearby Lyminge Primary school has an excellent Ofsted rating.
