“We believe this to be only the third time 'Strathmore' has come to the market since being architect-designed and built in 1931. Our family loved the house with its high ceilings, spacious rooms and welcoming hall and landing from the moment we entered it and the wonderful secluded rear garden was the icing on the cake. The house offered us a warm hug. It welcomed us in and we have been both happy and proud to be its custodians for more than 20 years.   Over those years we have of course modernised the house but we have always tried to ensure that any work undertaken retained or complimented the original features and character of the building.
