Fine & Country announces 2024 Spring Grant Programme

Fine & Country announces 2024 Spring Grant Programme

The Fine & Country Foundation’s Spring Grant Programme opened on 1st March 2024, offering charities both in the UK and overseas much needed grants to aid projects in the fight against homelessness and poverty. With two opportunities for charities to apply for grants each year, The Foundation have already supported many organisations across the globe over the past decade.

In the last round of Grants, in Autumn 2023, 24 charitable projects were allocated funding, totalling £47,220. Fine & Country locations worldwide are encouraged to submit applications, nominating a charity for a donation of up to £3,000. The Foundation board carefully reviews these proposals, and successful projects are awarded grants. This funding provides crucial support to charities, enabling them to sustain their vital community work.

Following years of turbulence and unease in the world’s economy, fuelled by a global pandemic and many wars and conflicts, The Fine & Country Foundation were proud to donate a phenomenal £144,198 to charities around the world in 2023. Jon Cooke, Trustee of the Fine & Country Foundation, commented: “The donations and grants that The Foundation give play a part in providing essential financial support to many non-profit organisations fighting against homelessness and poverty. Many of these organisations rely on donations to survive, and money they receive helps them to continue the vital work they are doing within their communities. The Foundation has so far, since it's inception in 2014, raised over £940,000. Without the amazing effort and support of the network and generosity of the public who donated money to their fundraising activities, The Foundation would not have been able to achieve this milestone.”

Applying for a grant is simple, with Fine & Country agents filling out a document to nominate their chosen charity to receive a grant of up to £3,000. We will be accepting grant applications from Friday 1st March until Sunday 31st March 2024. The Foundation Board will then review all applications and decide on the successful projects. They will be notified in April, with funds donated in May.

For more information on eligibility and how to apply, contact your local Fine & Country agent. You can also head to our Grant Application Process page or get in touch at grants@fineandcountry.com if you have any questions.
