The Fine & Country Foundation runners raise £2,261.80 at the Royal Parks Half Marathon

Six runners have raised £2,261.80 for The Fine & Country Foundation after completing the Royal Parks Half Marathon on Sunday 11 October 2026, helping to fund vital charitable projects supporting people experiencing homelessness and communities facing hardship.

The team took on the 13.1-mile challenge through four of London’s Royal Parks: Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James’s Park and Kensington Gardens. Along the scenic route, runners passed some of the capital’s most recognisable landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, the Houses of Parliament and Kensington Palace.

Running for The Foundation were Emilie Despois, Chief Marketing Officer at Fine & Country and Trustee of The Fine & Country Foundation; Tom Carter of Fine & Country North Wales; and William Grain, Baz Stevens, Jack Houghton and Lee Townson, friends and supporters of The Foundation.

Together, the six runners raised £2,261.80, demonstrating the continued commitment of the Fine & Country network and its supporters to helping people and communities facing difficult circumstances.

Emilie Despois, Chief Marketing Officer at Fine & Country and Trustee of The Fine & Country Foundation, said: “Taking part in the Royal Parks Half Marathon was a fantastic opportunity to raise both funds and awareness for The Foundation’s work. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who supported us, whether by donating, encouraging us during training or cheering us on along the way. Raising £2,261.80 is a brilliant result, and knowing that these funds will help support organisations making a real difference to people’s lives makes every mile worthwhile. As a Trustee, it is especially rewarding to see how collective efforts like this can translate into meaningful support for communities that need it most.”

Established in 2014, The Fine & Country Foundation is the charitable arm of the Fine & Country network. With a mission rooted in combating homelessness, The Foundation has expanded its support to include communities facing hardship and crisis, both across the UK and internationally. Through the generosity of the network, it has raised and donated more than £1 million to charities delivering practical support and creating positive change.

Funds raised through initiatives such as the Royal Parks Half Marathon contribute to The Foundation’s biannual grant programmes, which enable local charities and community organisations nominated through the Fine & Country network to apply for grants of up to £3,000. This funding can help organisations maintain essential services, support vulnerable people and deliver projects that strengthen communities.

The £2,261.80 raised by the team will help The Fine & Country Foundation continue its work supporting grassroots organisations and the people who rely on them, reinforcing the impact that collective action and community fundraising can achieve.
