The Fine & Country Foundation is delighted to announce that this year’s Carols by Candlelight Concert, held on Sunday 7 December 2025 at the iconic King’s College Chapel, Cambridge, has raised over £15,400 in support of homelessness charities across Cambridgeshire.
Returning once again to one of the world’s most breathtaking gothic chapels, the event brought together local residents, Fine & Country colleagues, and supporters from across the region for an evening filled with festive cheer, community spirit, and heartfelt generosity.
The funds raised will be donated to Emmaus Cambridge, Jimmy’s Cambridge, Wintercomfort, and Cambridge Cyrenians, four local organisations providing vital services, shelter, and long-term support for individuals experiencing homelessness. Thanks to the remarkable generosity of attendees, this year’s contribution will help these charities continue delivering life-changing support during the winter season and beyond.
Guests enjoyed enchanting performances from King’s Voices, whose atmospheric renditions of classic carols filled the candlelit chapel with warmth and seasonal joy. VIP guests were later welcomed to a festive reception, where mulled wine and mince pies offered a chance to reflect on the powerful purpose behind the celebration.
Reflecting on the success of this year’s concert, Emilie Despois, Trustee of The Fine & Country Foundation, said: “The Carols by Candlelight concert has become an incredibly special tradition, not only for its festive atmosphere but for the real and lasting impact it has on people’s lives. Raising over £15,400 is an extraordinary achievement and a testament to the compassion and community spirit of everyone who attended and supported the event.”
Since its inception, Carols by Candlelight has played a significant role in The Foundation’s mission to combat homelessness, contributing greatly to the funds raised annually for charities and non-profit organisations throughout the UK and overseas.
The Foundation extends its heartfelt thanks to all who attended, donated, volunteered, and supported this year’s concert. Their kindness continues to make a meaningful difference to vulnerable individuals within the local community.
