Tom Carter, Director of Fine & Country North Wales, successfully completed an ambitious endurance challenge as he joined six fellow participants in the ‘Cross Wales Walk’ to raise funds for The Fine & Country Foundation.
The group undertook a demanding 47-mile route stretching from the Shropshire/Powys border to Aberystwyth. Setting off at 4:30am on Saturday 9 May, the team completed the entire distance by nightfall, demonstrating remarkable resilience and determination in support of a worthy cause.
The walk followed closely on the heels of the Fine & Country Dragon Relay, which saw Tom and fellow Welsh licensees transport ‘Franco the Dragon’ across Wales in a creative and collaborative fundraising initiative. Inspired by the success of that challenge and motivated to maintain momentum, Tom once again laced up his hiking boots to make a meaningful difference.
Reflecting on the experience, Carter said: “The Dragon Relay was an incredible experience and really demonstrated what we can achieve when we come together. This walk was a very different kind of challenge, but the goal remained the same, to raise as much as possible for The Fine & Country Foundation and support the vital work it does.”
